§ 33.002. BOARD MEMBERS; ATTENDANCE REQUIRED.

  • (A) The appointed or elected secretary of each respective board shall keep an accurate and current record of the attendance of the board members at the regularly or specially called meetings of the Board.
    (B) The secretary or other responsible person shall certify to the County Auditor the attendance record as to each meeting of the Board.
    (C) The respective board members shall be paid their specified sum of money for attending the meetings only when the attendance has been certified to the Cass County Auditor.
    (D) No member shall be paid any attendance fee unless the member has attended the regularly or specially called board meeting.
